At Bang Rong, every Thai baht you spend helps contribute to the sustainable development of our vibrant community. As the most successful community tourism project in Phuket, we are committed to the principles of sustainable community tourism – fostering community ownership, participation, and equitable sharing of the benefits from tourism.
Since the COVID-19 outbreak in 2020, we have been using tourism revenue to support those in need. Through our efforts, we’ve helped fund nursing homes, equipped community hospitals with vital medical supplies ,and sponsored youth football events at Bang Rong School. Our mission is to ensure that marginalized groups and those in need in our community also thrive from tourism’s growth.
In addition to supporting our community, we actively use tourism income to protect and restore local natural resources. Over the past four years, we have invested in mangrove conservation projects to revitalize the estuary’s ecosystem. We also promote marine life conservation, most notably through our famous “Crab Bank” initiative. This project creates nurseries where young crabs are nurtured in a safe environment before being released into the sea, helping to replenish the crab population and support sustainable marine biodiversity.
We proudly pledge that 10% of every baht you spend in Bang Rong will be reinvested into the community, driving sustainable development and empowering our people. Join us in making a difference—supporting eco-friendly tourism while giving back to the community that makes your experience unforgettable.
